Hi im Phillip Reid ….i prefer Phil. I Currently live in Hamilton New Zealand with my wife Pauline .
I was born in a little town called Paihiatua situated in the lower North Island region of Manawatu. We lived in a town called Ekatahuna in the same region up until moving to Te Awamutu and subsequently Hamilton City in 1974.
I started school at Melville Primary for a year while Mum & Dad built a house and we settled in the suburb of Chartwell. I then went to Fairfield Primary , Intermediate and Secondary School. In 1987 i started studying Architectual Draughting at Waikato Polytech (now WINTEC) and also part time work at Singhs Engineering Services. I found Engineering to be a great career and really interesting and eventually worked my way up to forman in 1991.
We had a 5 year break away from Hamilton and lived in Kihi Kihi and Pirongia to be closer to my parents a great lifestyle and only a half hour commute to work, moving back to Hamilton and settling in the Suburb of St Andrews
